The RiskPoint Group Announce New Country Managers
As part of our continued efforts to strengthen the RiskPoint Group’s regional presence and support our ambition of becoming the Underwriter of Choice, we are pleased to announce the appointment of two new Country Managers within EMEA.
Santiago Sanchez Appointed Country Manager Spain
We are pleased to appoint Santiago Sanchez as Country Manager Spain, effective December 1st, 2025. Since joining the RiskPoint Group in 2023, Santi has contributed significantly to both the Group Digital Business Development team and the local Spanish operations. Santiago brings with him extensive experience and deep industry insight, having held different leadership roles in both underwriting and distribution areas at AIG, ACE and Chubb which makes him well-equipped to lead the next phase of our Spanish growth strategy.
We are delighted to announce that Maria Jose Cruz has been appointed Country Operations Manager and will be working closely with Santiago, supporting strategic planning and implementation of corporate initiatives. We extend our sincere gratitude to MarĂa JosĂ© Cruz for her dedication in establishing the Spanish branch in 2019 and leading the team.
Lisa Rissveds Appointed Country Manager Norway
We are equally pleased to announce the promotion of Lisa Rissveds to Country Manager Norway, effective January 1st, 2026. Since joining the RiskPoint Group as a Financial Lines Trainee in 2017, Lisa has progressed through underwriting and leadership roles across Financial Lines and Cyber. Her strong leadership mindset, broad expertise, and consistent performance have positioned her to lead our Norwegian operations into their next phase of development, including expansion into new business lines and strengthening our market position.
After establishing and leading our Norwegian subsidiary since 2010 Anette Fuglesang has been appointed to a Global function as Director of Inorganic Growth, effective September 1st, 2025. We thank Anette for her exceptional contribution and commitment to building a strong, energetic and inspiring local team from scratch and growing it from within, living and breathing our company culture, while turning RiskPoint into a well-reputed and recognized player in the local market. Anette continues to act as Managing Director for Norway until January 1st, 2026.
These appointments mark another key step in strengthening our presence in both Spain and Norway and reinforces our commitment to delivering expert, responsive, and solution-driven support to our clients and distribution partners.
I look forward to working closely with Santiago and Lisa to ensure we keep on meeting the expectations of our clients, brokers, and stakeholders as we continue expanding with more people and new products, delivered with our service minded trademark of speed and precision.
