Shape the Future of Internal Application Support

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Specialist who is ready to step into a role with direct responsibility for the quality of our internal support.

This position is suitable for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, takes initiative, and proactively works to reduce issues before they affect colleagues and daily operations.

Who Are We?

The RiskPoint Group is a global Managing General Underwriter (MGU) that offers best-in-class insurance solutions backed by the insurance companies we represent.

We are an agile company with strong cross-border collaboration, leveraging our extensive, international expertise.

Our company structure is flat, and we provide great opportunities for every employee to make a difference, take responsibility, enhance their skill set, and grow.

About the Team

You will become part of our growing Application team within the IT department.

Our team currently consists of eight people, comprised of three remote workers and five based in our head office in Copenhagen.

With daily stand-ups and a specialized focus, we operate in a dynamic setting where we continuously collaborate and assist one another.

About the Position

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the stability and functionality of our ledger system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including its policy and claim ledger modules. You will also provide support for other internal applications where needed. Your primary responsibilities will not only involve resolving incidents but also identifying patterns in recurring issues, recommending improvements, and ensuring a seamless application environment for your colleagues.

You will be in daily contact with different stakeholders internally and externally, to ensure timely and efficient resolutions every day. To succeed in this role, you will need to be adaptable, balance multiple priorities, and take ownership of advancing tasks to completion.

A service-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to build relationships are essential for success. Although most interactions take place online or over the phone, in-person meetings are required, including occasional travel to collaborate with colleagues or stakeholders in other countries.

This position is based in the Copenhagen office and reports directly to the Application Manager.

Examples of responsibilities include:

  • Taking ownership of Business Central support and ensuring system stability, minimizing operational disruptions
  • Troubleshooting, analyzing root cause, and proactively addressing recurring issues
  • Collaborating with analysts, external vendors, and internal stakeholders to implement long-termsolutions
  • Anticipating and reducing future support requests by improving processes, documentation, and guidance for colleagues
  • Creating and maintaining clear internal documentation and training materials, and facilitating knowledge-sharing where needed
  • Managing and prioritizing tickets in Jira, ensuring accountability and timely resolution
  • Identifying patterns and opportunities for optimization based on system data and feedback from colleagues

We offer you the opportunity to:

  • Make an impact by improving end-users’ daily experience
  • Develop your skills with ongoing training in Microsoft Business Central and our other applications
  • Take on increased responsibilities as you grow in the role, contributing to the evolution of our IT systems and processes
  • Become a key part of our journey in improving the overall IT experience, with a chance to influence decisions and drive change
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, IT, and external vendors to solve complex user challenges

A Great Match for Us

To be successful in this role, you will be a strong team player with the ability to take ownership, drive improvements, and navigate complex situations. You will need to combine technical insight with strong communication skills to build trust and ensure progress across different teams and vendors.

We hope you have:

  • A university degree, preferably within computer science, information studies, or a related field, with a strong interest in user-focused solutions
  • 2-3 years experience in application support
  • A proactive and structured approach, comfortable working in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment
  • Strong communication skills, and ability to adapt to different colleagues and cultures
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central (configuration knowledge is an advantage)
  • Skilled in root cause analysis and problem-solving, with a focus on lasting solutions
  • Experience using Jira or similar tools for tracking and managing support
  • Fluency in English, spoken and written

You must have current residency in Denmark with the necessary work and residency permits in place before applying.
